A grocery store bagger from northern Indiana is ready for a bag-off with David Letterman.
Kyle Perry of Osceola was set to appear Tuesday night on the “Late Show with David Letterman” after winning the bagging competition at the National Grocers Association convention last month in Las Vegas.
The 19-year-old works at a Martin’s Super Market in Granger.
He said he was excited about appearing on the Letterman show but expected he’d be nervous. He also expected some competition from Letterman, who worked at a grocery store while growing up in Indianapolis.
“Late Show” airs at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
